Hair topper not a good fit

This is a feedback from our customer 'Sorry. I really wanted these to work. First both colors are too rich for my dark ash brown grey hair. Neither color will blend. Also maybe I have a big weird head because they give me a conehead shape. Please refund me.' Why this happened?

It sounds like there are two main issues here:

  1. Color Mismatch – The customer’s hair is dark ash brown with grey, which means they need a cooler, more muted tone. If the pieces they received have richer or warmer tones, they won’t blend naturally. Many hairpieces have warmth in their undertones, which can make them stand out against ashier natural hair.
  2. Fit & Shape Issue (Conehead Effect) – This could be due to a few factors:
    • The base design might not be sitting flush against the customer’s head. If it's too structured or has extra volume in certain areas, it can create a lifted effect.
    • The cap size or construction might not suit their head shape. If the base is too rounded or stiff, it may not lay naturally.
    • If the topper or wig has permatease or extra wefting, it can add height, which might not work well for some head shapes.

Possible solutions:

  • For color: Offer a consultation or recommend a shade with more ashy tones. If needed, suggest toning options (e.g., purple shampoo for warmth reduction).
  • For shape: Ask if they adjusted the placement, tried different application techniques, or if a different cap style would work better for them.

Would you like to offer them an exchange for a better-matching option instead of a refund?
